52 on Friday - Mother/Mothering

This weeks theme is Mothering for me!  I just love the image I captured, his little eye is checking to see if Mommy is still there.  Being a mom is such an honor and I hope that I can be as good of a mom as mine is!!

Busy couple of days!

Here are a couple sneak peaks of what I have been up to this week.

And for the first time it was warm enough to take a newborn outside!!!

Halfway there!!!!

Yes, it is true, we are expecting baby number two!!!  So excited to be halfway there!!  McKenna is so excited to teach the baby everything she knows and more!  She has been practicing with her babies and is going to be quite the little helper.

What does this mean to my business?  Well it means a limit of about 4 sessions per month, still focusing on newborns, kids, teens, seniors, and their families.  It also means I’ll be wrapping up sessions by mid-August.  I’ll be on a nice long maternity leave from September until late January, to spend time with the new baby and my family.  Then it’ll be back to business as usual.  Please feel free to call/text/email me with questions or concerns. 


There is just one more thing.  To accommodate my clients that love the fall sessions as much as I do, I will be holding fall Mini Sessions on Saturday, October 15th.  Sessions will be about 30 minutes each and there must be at least five for me to do it.  The location and the details will come out at a later date but if you want to get on the list and have not already contacted me, please do.  I am thinking, a few digital images for you to print and use as you please as well as Christmas cards will be included in the package.   So please pass this on to your friends so that we have enough to hold these.  I have a few people already expressed interest, just need a few more.  The Christmas card styles are going to be very original as always!! 


If you have already contacted me for a session and we have scheduled, that session will go on as planned unless you hear from me.  If you are on a baby plan, we will do sessions as planned.  If you are a current client and want to schedule something during that time, I would love to do some more photos for you, so please do not hesitate to contact me!  


If you have a question, do not hesitate to call me.  All depends on how easy this baby is when it gets here, I may start taking clients slowly if there is a demand.  So please, if you are interested, contact me!

Burke - newborn

Meet Burke, at under two weeks old he is so cute!!  We got a few shots today at his home and I can't wait to get more!!

Landon - newborn

Landon came to the studio today to get some more photos!!!  He is such a great baby!!  At only a week and  2 days old, still just a little peanut!

Thanks for coming to see me again Mommy and Daddy!!!  He is so cute!!

This little guy's parents were supposed to be having his last baby shower on Saturday, but instead he decided he wanted to be present for it!!  Coming into this world 4 weeks early and sweet as can be, meet Landon!  Only 4 days old and weighing 5 lbs 4 oz today, he is so adorable!!
